On Sunday, February 21, the student group Maine Type Lab hosted a risograph workshop at MECA&D with the local print studio Wing Club Press. Andrew Scripter and Jimmy Viera showed students and faculty proper printing techniques for the machine which is a new addition to MECA&D’s printing equipment available to students. Majors from Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography attended. They had a chance to learn how to prepare computer files and also work by hand to create different results using the risograph.
