We are able to meet with each student individually to assess personal and professional goals. Based on a student's interest, we work together to craft a local, national or international internship opportunity that explores a particular career path.

MECA&D encourages students to participate in internships as a means of gaining real-world experience and better understanding a potential career path. We work with each student to match them to an opportunity that meets their personal and professional goals. Internships for academic credit take place in the Portland area during the academic year and can happen anywhere during the summer. Faculty highly recommend and value these experiences because of the real-world knowledge gained by working under a supervisor in a professional setting. Below you will find a list of employers that have welcomed interns.
