You can find your admissions counselor here and email them to plan a visit to present in your classroom which is a great way to educate your students about careers in the arts, or they can attend a critique, art exhibition at your school, or a community event!

Take a Virtual Tour of MECA&D

Touring MECA&D is a great way to show your students the benefits of attending a visual art school.  While we are not currently hosting members of the public, we welcome you and your students to take a virtual tour to experience MECA&D’s campus and see our unique community at work!

We are also hosting several virtual Open Houses and a series of webinars throughout the fall. To learn more and register, see meca.edu/visit.

Your Students + MAT Teacher Candidates = Adventures in Art

Contemporary art for contemporary students. Adventures in Art is a contemporary art education program for your students, that uses the current ICA exhibition and on-going curriculum connections. This includes a classroom visit from the MAT teacher candidates, MECA&D field trip, ICA exhibition tours, an art-making experience here at MECA&D that correlates to the ICA show, and a student exhibition back at your school.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact Rachel Somerville, Interim Chair and Director of Art Education Outreach of the MAT program, at rsomerville@meca.edu
