    Jennifer Brou is an artist and designer based in South Portland, Maine. She earned her BFA in Crafts, with a Minor in Photography from Longwood University. Jennifer has 13-years of experience as a designer and developer in the footwear industry. She has also maintained an active studio practice that includes knitwear design, photography, and drawing. Her most recent accomplishments as a knitwear designer include having her work selected to be featured in internationally distributed publications such as those produced by Woolfolk, Making Stories and Brooklyn Tweed.

    Jennifer’s knitwear designs have been selected for inclusion in Woolfolk’s 2018 and 2019 Wool Elements collections; Brooklyn Tweed’s Wool People 14 2020 collection; Farmers Daughter Fibers’ Wisp 2020 collection; Making Stories Issue 5 2021 collection; among others.

    Extracurricular

    Jennifer lives in South Portland with her partner and fellow artist, Philip, and their pet rabbits. She enjoys spending time in the studio, running, and being outdoors.
