PORTLAND, Jun 16, 2021 -- Maine College of Art & Design (MECA&D) is pleased to announce the MECA&D 2021 COLLECT Online Art Sale, which will run from Thursday, June 17, through Sunday June 27, 2021 featuring more than 450 works of art by 128 participating artists. This year’s COLLECT Online Art Sale offers a unique, diverse, and unexpected array of original work in a variety of genres, including furniture, sculpture, jewelry, paintings, prints, photography, textiles, drawings, and more. Both the online and in-person events are free and open to the public.
“MECA&D’s annual COLLECT Art Sale gives local and global collectors the chance to own original works of art from the talented artists in our community,” shared President Laura Freid. “The purchase of a COLLECT artwork benefits the participating emerging and established artists while also raising critical funds for student scholarships.”
