On October 18th, 2015, Portland Symphony Orchestra held a "Trick or Treat" concert at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Maine. Assistant Conductor Norman Hunyh lead the “ghouls and goblins” of the P.S.O during a family-friendly musical. Norman Hunyh hired Alum Matthew Tanzi MFA ’15 to create an animation for the fifth piece of the concert— “Camille Saint-Saens Danse Macabre”. Inspired by the old legend of the Grim Reaper going to cemeteries on Halloween night to play his fiddle, Tanzi animated the undead dancers dancing around to the Reaper’s tune.
