2013 Alumni Biennial Juried Exhibition: Ardor

Reclaiming ancestral knowledge, unraveling the fractious geometry of urban landscapes, and redressing conditions of dissonance in contemporary life inform the impassioned works of this assembly of artists.
These six women embrace difficult societal issues of displacement and isolation on communities and individuals. Collectively their works articulate enigmatic experiences and reveal introspective creative processes that are fervent and restorative.
Participating artists include Gina Adams ‘02, Hannah Barnes ‘02, Jenny Dougherty ‘05, Rebecca Bennett Duke ‘95, Shirah Neumann MFA ‘12, and Rebecca Wood ‘13.
