Eight MECA&D alumni and faculty have been accepted into the biennial at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland, Maine. They include faculty members Hilary Irons (BFA) and Julie Poitras Santos (MFA), as well as the following alumni: Julie K. Gray MFA '12, Dylan Hausthor '15, Baxter Koziol '17, Isabelle O’Donnell '17, Gina Siepel MFA '08, and Joel Tsui '16, MFA '19.
The jurors were Kate Green, Guest Director of Marfa Contemporary in Texas, and Robin K. Williams, Ford Curatorial Fellow at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit in Michigan.
