Associate Professor and Chair of Ceramics, Lucy Breslin, was awarded the NCECA funded residency (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) to Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada. She will be in residence there for the month of August. While there she will work on a series of pieces inspired by several poets who formalize joyous observations and complicated relations using nature as metaphor.

The Banff Centre, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, is one of Canada's premier arts and cultural centers. The multidisciplinary programming brings together artists from all over the world to engage in creative endeavors. Learn more.
