MECA&D’s 2021 COLLECT Art Sale will again be held online, giving art lovers worldwide the opportunity to purchase work by students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the College. Your purchase will support MECA&D student scholarships and provide commissions to artists from Maine and beyond.
This year, a selection of COLLECT artwork will be available to view in person in the Institute of Contemporary Art at MECA&D from June 17-20. You may book online for up to 10 attendees in 30 minute increments. The work will not be available for purchase until the sale opens online on June 24.

6/17-6/20 – In-Person Preview
A selection of COLLECT artwork will be available to view in person at the Institute of Contemporary Art at MECA&D from June 17-20. To schedule a preview, click here. You may book online for groups up to 10 attendees in 30 minute increments.
6/17-6/24 – Online Preview

Virtual Opening Reception
6/24 – Connect at COLLECT
Save the date for the virtual opening reception, CONNECT at COLLECT, co-presented with Decor Maine on June 24 from 5:15 – 5:45pm. Decor Maine editor Susan Grisanti will host a panel of artists, collectors, and professionals to discuss collecting for both first time and experienced buyers and share highlights from the over 450 pieces of artwork available.
6/24 – 6/27 – Sale Opens
The sale will open online at 6:00pm on Thursday, June 24 and will run through 6:00pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Artwork can be purchased via the sale website, shop.meca.edu. meca.edu/artists.
