After four years studying and working in London, Abby moved to New York City, where she lived for 16 years before her return to Maine in 2015. Her experience in nonprofit work includes events, corporate and individual fundraising, marketing, and communications. Most recently she was the Director of Annual Giving & Special Events at Spurwink.

- Abby has a BA in English from Kenyon College and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of London
- Abby is a board member with the Maine Jewish Film Festival
