Jenna Crowder is an interdisciplinary artist and writer working in publication, installation, criticism, and curation as modes of public practice. She is interested in writing as a visual practice and language as a site of collaboration and performance. Her writing has appeared in such publications as The Brooklyn RailArt PapersTemporary Art ReviewBURNAWAY, Boston Art Review, The Rib, VICE Creators, and Liminalities: a journal of performance studies, in addition to artist catalogs and anthologies.

Jenna is the Co-Founding Editor of The Chart, an arts journal that celebrates slow publishing, regionally-specific critical artistic dialogue, and IRL conversation as a form of publishing. The Chart has received grants from The Kindling Fund, the Maine Arts Commission, the Rabkin Foundation, and the Ellis-Beauregard Foundation to support the journal and its programming, which include a Visiting Artist Lecture Series, Critics-in-Residence, and annual publications in addition to its online platform.
