Olivia Fredericks joins MECA&D as the Printmaking Department Technician & Artist-In-Residence. Olivia will be bringing her technical expertise and professional practice to the Print department and will have a studio in the fourth floor printmaking majors studios.
Olivia is a printmaker, zine-maker, and illustrator originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. She received a BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in printmaking at the University of Arkansas School of Art. She is interested in using the printed mark for installations, books, zines, and ephemeral objects. Her work has been shown in numerous group shows around the country, including the Screenprint Biennial and PrintAustin Expo. She recently completed a printmaking internship at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colorado.
