Pilar Nadal is a printmaker and educator who earned her MFA from MECA&D. In her individual and collaborative work, she utilizes printmaking and public engagement practices, creating playful and interactive prints and installations that explore communication technologies and the spaces that relationships inhabit. She also teaches at Southern Maine Community College and Pickwick Independent Press. Her work has been exhibited at Mayo Street Arts and Feed Arts Center and she also runs The Tired Press, a mobile print shop located on a bicycle.

Extracurricular
Along with collaborator Anne Buckwalter MFA ’13, Pilar created a “fake” analog radio show called “npilar,” recorded live on cassette tape. The half‐hour show was a platform for discussion on contemporary art, literature, films, holidays, underwear, celebrities, sex, monsters, food, outer space, and more.
