Year 1: Summer

- full and low residency students
- Permission to Proceed to Fall term, granted by MFA Chair
Year 1: Fall
- 14-15 week term
- Low Residency students from their home studio
- Full Residency on campus in Portland
- Winter Intensive in Early December: students return to Portland
- 1st year research trip to New York
Year 1: Spring
- 14-15 week term
- Low Residency students from their home studio
- Full Residency on campus in Portland
- Permission to Proceed to 2nd year, granted by MFA Chair
Year 2: Summer
- 8 weeks

- Full and Low residency students
- Permission to Proceed to Fall term, granted by MFA Chair
Year 2: Fall
- 14-15 week term
- low residency students from their home studio
- full residency on campus in Portland
- International research trip for 2nd year students (early fall)
Year 2: Spring
- 14-15 week term
- Low Residency students from their home studio
- Full Residency on campus in Portland
- May Intensive for all graduating students
