Artist Bio
Halle Johns is a filmmaker based in Camden and Portland, Maine. She graduated from Bates College with a degree in Rhetoric and a concentration in Film Studies. She worked for two years as an assistant editor and producer at Compass Light Productions, a documentary production company in Camden, Maine, focused on films about the natural world. Most recently she has earned a graduate certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. Her primary documentary interest revolves around people and their relationships to their environment.
